The regional business development company Concordia was founded in 1999 and is owned by five municipalities in the Jakobstad region.

Concordia is a service unit for the Jakobstad region's economic and regional development. The basis of the company's business is to promote the different branches of business and the regional development in the Jakobstad region. Concordia serves as a link between the municipalities and the companies in Jakobstad, Kronoby, Larsmo, Nykarleby and Pedersöre.
